*Note – Although the Revised Version and American Standard Version used the KJV as a reference when making these Bibles, they actually used the Westcott and Hort manuscripts for the translation.
The New King James Version was also based on the King James Version, it used the the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia manuscripts to translate the Old Testament, but did in fact use the Textus Receptus to translate the New Testament.
